When the time stops counting and the meter maters no longer

I have found the silver shores of the edge  of time

parameters leach into the ether

the field of our horizons is infinity

where did the touch go I had so recently upon me?

I cannot find you in the dark and I want you to hold me.

this heart

it’s trying to beat straight out of my chest and live in a second of mixed breath and mixed up skin

when I don’t know where I end and you begin

still here we are with the books we read and the scenes we play

these that lay paths into us like deer tracks, too hard to trace our paths

and so we stand like strangers upon distant shores with fragments of human history

woven into a primordial fabric of memories

locked within the magical realm of you and I

this love-stuck alchemy

To create beauty

To leave behind me better than what I came to

To never stop learning

To never stop growing within

To never take the small moments for granted

To understand myself

To be surprised by myself

And to be the first ripple of many concentric circles of peace radiating out from the hearts of man and woman kind.

a speed bump in your midst

to carry you to greater paths if you brave my wits

have you astounded yourself at all? In the last waking years if not days?

What more is left if not more than you can bear on this mortal coil?

There is a place which resides within the mind and the heart

in fact there the two are inextricably intertwined an almost pristine environment of creation, abated only by the breath of thought.

If you close your eyes you can come here

you must relinquish the waking life

you are me and i am you and all is all we are and all we know

can you enter the place between blinks, between thought…

Where are your fantasies right now?

No, right this second…..Where are they?

are they in your gut? in the mind that waits for blissful retreat of sleep? In your long forsaken yesterdays?

I can count on five fingers five things and so can you and this is real and meaningful.

What is the meaning of meaningful?

walk the dark mysterious path of the mind in search of likeness strength in numbers

the data disappears when we make eye contact and all I am is space time….

expanding across a three dimensional realm and unfolding  into you.

would you take a lover?

make some person your own secret idol

is this against your moral compass?

does your compass always infallibly point to true north?

let me ask you…is your compass accurate?

in the haze of morning I could skip beats in time

the frames per second are off

what is in the GAP?

skin and a heart

blood flows through the drain and circulates

out into the ocean

forever!

in effervescent bubbles upon the salty sea

salt upon salt blood and salinity of sea!

tongue in cheek, tongue upon breast, child within dances eternally.

Now the sun is barely up and it is almost six.

The seasons here show themselves in full colors with a spectrum like a waxing and waning moon.

I look forward to fall days to follow sunrises later and later until it breaks again one day in the spring and rewinds

back once again…

another year opened up like a flower.

What seeds dispersed upon the land, seeds of mind and garnered by hand!

I lust for those creative times when two merry minds together bind!

I yearn with my often exotic being for the peace of knowing of knowing of knowing

MY ISLAND

in the mist of lands which feud together and forever

for the cause of man.

I am standing here today shouting at the sun because of the intensity of its rays:

Make, Do, Be, Create, we are art and all and none, everything that is done has been done before and done again and again and again before that:

and that is reassuring, and beautiful, and wonderful
